Themax is a responsive, clean, simple, portfolio & blog oriented theme suitable for almost any kind of business. The theme is specially designed to focus on content and surprise the user with soft styled elements and smooth, subtle effects (powered by CSS3 or jQuery). The primary colors used are blue, grey and black specially chosen because of their visual influence on the user, blue makes the user safe and secure (good if you want people to trust you), black is powerful and wealthy (good if you want people to spend money) and grey (in combination with blue) has a calming philological effect on the user.
Regarding the site structure, the layout has a fixed width of 960px except of the slideshows which have a fixed size of 1200×400px. The footer background design also has an width bigger that the rest of the site, but this one does not affect the content, only the visual design. As you can see the footer has a relatively more complex design than the rest of the site, mainly because the user attention is focused more and more on this part of the website. The reason for this layout difference is that a bigger element on the front page always attract attention and gives a sense of greatness. Please continue reading about the main features of the theme.
Responsive design
The theme is completely responsive and optimized for mobile devices. Tested on iPhone, iPad, Android and Kindle. To test it please resize your browser. The slideshows are also responsive and supports touch navigation. The only one who is not completely responsive is the carousel slider.
Light & Dark styles with multiple slideshows
The theme has 2 built in styles (light/dark) and has the possibility to create your own personalized style with the ease of style builder. This 2 styles are completed by no more than5 slideshows, completely customizable and with the possibility to attach video. Each slider has its own set of features and can be customized in the theme control panel. You can select the slider animation, caption, external link, choose how many posts to display, choose to enable/disable the autostart feature, navigate with mouse wheel and much more.
Extensive homepage modules and styles
You have the possibility to display anything you need on the homepage due to the 11 modules that compose the page. Each module is configurable via the theme option and for the primary modules you have the option to rearange their order via an drag and drop system. Besides the multitude of features you have the possibility to display as your homepage the blog or portfolio layout while maintaining the slideshow and headline section. So if you just want to have a blog choose the blog homepage, if you want to have a portfolio choose the portfolio homepage. Quick and easy.
Multiple portfolio and blog templates
The theme is packed with no more than 6 portfolio and 4 blog templates giving you extensive flexibility on how to display and comment your projects. The portfolio templates are all filterable and can be customized from the admin panel. You have the possibility to select from 1 up to 4 columns layout, a 2 columns + sidebar layout and a 3 columns + sortable feature as a sidebar. Also, you can choose how many posts to display and add a page headline.
The blog templates supports post formats, featured image, possibility to add the short description via the excerpt field and post meta. You have the possibility to select from a full width layout, 2 column layout, 1 column + 2 sidebars and a masonry layout with the possibility to sort the posts by: category, tag and year (this is a nice one).
Multiple general templates
Of course extra templates cannot be left out. So, this theme has special layouts for: services, team, testimonials, tour, image gallery and sitemap. All these page templates have specific options and can be customizable via theme options or custom post options

Powerful admin panel
None of these features cannot be possible without a powerful admin panel. This is the main administration panel and you can customize all the design, structure and functionality of the theme. You have options for slideshows, social media, logos, seo options, color styles and typography.
Visual style builder
The theme has a style builder section inside the main administration panel, this means that you can create unlimited color variations, as well as multiple typography variations.
Visual shortcodes panel
Regarding the shortcodes section you don’t have to worry about all that code you need to insert into the editor, the theme has a visual shortcode panel where all the shortcodes have their own subpanel. Besides that you have the code for all of theme underneath each shortcode in the theme preview.
